PC HELP- prismatic slime loophole?

This also just happened to me. A prismatic and special slime and it dropped a sword. I'm on PC, though I do have mods in use. I don't have any that affect monsters or loot though.

Hi! Just wanted to mention that this bug just happened to me too. Prismatic slime, changing colours, didn't drop a prismatic jelly. I can't remember if it dropped anything else, but I checked my inventory after it said it was complete and I didn't have one.

I seem to be having a similar issue - I got the prismatic slime right off the bat, but I was super new to the game and died right after I killed it... and didn't get the jelly. I've had the mission 5 or 6 times now, tried all the different tips to get the prismatic slime to spawn again, and it won't. I've used so much time looking for it and I've half given up. Help!
