Hello! My wife and I are having trouble connecting to a multiplayer game in which we have previously been able.
We are both running OSX 11.6.2 with the latest patched version of Stardew Valley 1.5.6 released on 2021-12-22.
My wife starts the game and hosts through the Co-op tab in the game. She receives the message that she is now hosting a multiplayer game and is given the invite code.
An "Invite Friend" button appears but does nothing when clicked. Both the "Show Invite Code" and the "Start Local Co-op" buttons are present and can be pressed.
On my computer I can see that my wife is hosting a game (see attached photo). When attempting to connect it hangs on the "Connecting..." screen until it eventually tells me the connection failed.
Attempts using the invite code fail connection as well.
We are both in the same wifi, and even on the same band, and our ISP is Google Fiber. I have attempted port-forwarding and this does not seem to help. Wondering if anyone can offer any advice!
