PC [HELP] No invite Code generated or space to enter it in.

Been enjoying Stardew Valley co-op with both my partner, who is on the same lan, as well as friends via invite code.

However, a few days ago the invite code only appeared sometimes. Now it does not at all.

I have looked at the multiplayer guide and have:
Allowed access through firewall for stardew and steam (both were already allowed)
Port forwarded as per the guide
steam has been running and we only open stardew through steam
restarted our router and computer
have also updated windows

Would appreciate any suggestions/fixes

Hi, same has happened to us. Just came here to say you are not alone ^^
Hope it's fixed soon

Edit: after several game, Steam and pc restarts, it's finally working

It usually appears for me when i go back to the title screen and load back into the game. However, if you are on pc its much easier to send a direct invite to friends via steam (in the options of the game)

A mod posted additional fixes, but their post disappeared for an unknown reason.
As a result I have also:
Run steam as admin
deleted start up preferences
restarts of all kinds
changed username
Try reinstalling .NET Framework 4.5.2 and XNA Framework 4.0 first and Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

I Have run SMAPI and generated a log: https://smapi.io/log/a3a8a9eceef34fb0818a3f0bef7116c3

@lillylou I usually used exactly that to invite. The option no longer appears despite numerous attempts.

@Cristu Thanks, it is reassuring to hear I am not the only one with this problem. Edit: Glad it started again for you,

Update: I tried playing online today and indeed have the same problem. Now that i think about it, i saw some people mentioning it on reddit today as well.
update 2: it showed invite code after i chanhed from invisible to online on steam

Problem was also fixed for me by changing my steam status from online to invisible, back to online again.
