Honestly though, I feel like if your farmer can haul a backpack full of iridium, they should be able to jump over a bush

As others suggested, your best bets are probably to utilize multiplayer (if and only if you already constructed a cabin, though, as building one anew on a preexisting file requires visiting robin), or to sleep to winter (when all fiber weeds are destroyed) and hope that no additional stone or wood weeds spawn.

The chair may work, but I don't know if it'll work in the up/down orientation (on mobile at least, it's a lot more painful), though it's worth a try before committing to sleeping a whole year away.

It sounds drastic, but just start a new save file. Also should probably tell my sister not to do that, because she always puts her tools in a chest before going to sleep.
