PC [HELP] Multiplayer - Connection Error

After the latest 1.5.1 update, I cannot connect via online to my friend's multiplayer farm even though I could connect before. The screen says 'Connecting' for a small while before simply saying 'Connection failed'. out of the three of us playing both the host and another person can play but I can't join. It's not a case of missing cabins or being offline as this was a save before the latest update. The solutions I've tried are:

- Make sure both games are up to date
- Connect via Steam Invite
- Connect via invite code
- Connect via 'join game' on Steam
- Restart both games
- Restart both PCs
- Restart Internet (shared internet)
- Uninstall and reinstall the game on both ends
- Delete the start_up preferences file

I haven't got any firewalls or anti-viruses running, nor do I have an inappropriate Steam name. Any help? I've seen some older posts with this happening but not with the latest update! Many thanks!

I'm having the same problem - have tried all the possible solutions and still can't get it to work.

same here, we reinstalled the game, reinstalled
Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013, restarted PC several times (windows 10), and nothing worked. I managed to host after the last update, and I onlu started having this issue started today
