Hello everyone,
I am having a serious bug with my save file. Marlon has completely disappeared from my game. I can't enter the Adventurer's Guild anymore.
To be clear:
• I have received his mail and completed his quests.
• The mines event still happens and he appears there, but he is not in the guild and doesn't appear at festivals.
• I tried loading the save without ANY mods (vanilla), but he is still missing. So the issue is likely in the save file itself.
• I have slept for many in-game days since this happened, so I don't have a backup _old file to roll back to.
Based on what I've read online, his NPC entry might be missing from my save file's XML, or there is a formatting error (like <characters /> instead of </characters>).
Could someone please help me fix my save file? I have attached my save file to this post. Thank you so much for the help!
