Solved Help it won't launch after hours playing it

I have played stardew vally for a little while and have 65 hours played. I stopped playing for maybe a few weeks to a month and now every time I try to play the game and launch it this pop up comes up. In that time away I didn't add any more mods or change anything to my computer. I did have mods on it but not very many just smapi and skip mini fishing game mod. In another form somewhere I read that updating the mods might fix this so I updated all the mods, it didn't work. I also tried downloading some type of thing that said it would fix it but it still doesn't work, I don't really remember what it was called now. I even tried deleting the mod folder to see if that would help.

After looking in another form on here of someone who was having the same problem someone replied "In your Steam library, right-click Stardew Valley and select Properties... > Betas > then "compatibility" under the dropdown". I tried it and it still doesn't launch but now the message says this. (with the mods deleted, with the mods there it is the same as the top picture) it helped with their problem but not mine.

My friend who is somewhat good with computers also tried helping me, he updated all the things on my computer that needed it. the only solution that he could find was uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I have not tried this yet because it scares me. If anyone has solutions to this I will try pretty much anything. Thank you for any help.

Okay, first thing's first, that error is from smapi which means you're using mods and should be posting in the Mod Support section.

Second, don't be scared of uninstalling and reinstalling. Just make sure to back up your saves first.

When asking for help with mods; it's best to post a SMAPI log via: https://smapi.io/log/

I see you updated mods, but did you also update SMAPI itself? Not updating SMAPI after SDV gets an update can be one of the reasons for the "BadImageFormatException" error in the first pic.

Also, as an fyi for the 2nd screenshot. Modding via SMAPI is not supported when using the Compatibility branch.
So, please opt-out of the Compatibility branch, and post a log.

Sorry, I didn't realize that it was a mod issue and this is my first time finding and using this website so I don't know where any thing is.
Also I tried to uninstall and reinstall it and it didn't work. I also coppied all the files then deleted them from the main folder and uninstalled and reinstalled. It then said that it didn't download right so I replaced the files with the copy.

Have you tried verifying files? Both GoG and Steam have a means to do so, to verify the program isn't buggered up.

Also, have you looked into what MysticTempest mentioned?

Was that the only log though?
The log is old, from last year. And, it shows your last SMAPI version was v3.9.4

I see your newest picture has the SMAPI installer folder in the game folder. But, that just means you downloaded the installer; not that it's installed correctly.

Please rerun the installer for the current version via the instructions linked above.

And, the error in the middle shows you were indeed running the old SMAPI; v3.9.4
Could not load file or assembly 'SMAPI.Toolkit, Version=3.9.4.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies.

Which means the new SMAPI wasn't installed correctly.

Once done; I'd try to play modded again. If you're still having issues; please send a new log.

It was a little confusing but my brother helped me figure out what it wanted, thank you so much. I have added all the links that you gave me into my saved bookmarks just incase it happens again or I forget what to do when SMAPI needs updates again.

I found out how to verify and verified it, my brother had to explain how to do it. Yes, I was looking into what both of you were saying at the same time and tried all things that you both said to do, it was a little confusing but eventually I found out what to do with help. Thank you for all your help, it works now and I am so happy that I can play again.
