Android [HELP] Incorrect season and extra mail

I'm on the mobile version for Android, and when I opened my saved game, the season had changed. I was in winter, but this looked like spring. The calendar in my house also says winter.
Also, the mailbox is completely full of mail. It's like all the letters I would have gotten throughout the year all got sent at once.
This sound familiar to anyone?

If your calendar didn't say winter, I would say the game kept running in the background. When you don't sell anything through the shipping box, the next day will just start without having to click anything.

But I don't know why your calendar would not change with the season.

Ooh, that makes sense! I don't think I've ever had a day where I didn't sell something, but I was in the mines until the last minute and didn't have time to sell. Thanks! I'm a little irritated because I pretty much missed all of the spring planting, but there's always the greenhouse
