PC [HELP] Halp, screen freezes before i can even make/launch a new character!

Any suggestions what to try to fix this? Running on a Windows 10 Laptop. Ive played many hours before this patch in coop with my girlfriend no problems at all. Where should i start? I already verified game files, any other quick fixes to try?
