PC [HELP] Game crashes when sleeping

Hey! I am on year 4 of my first stardew valley, and as you see in the title, the game crashes whenever i sleep. I can enter the game just fine and walk around, but when i sleep it goes "saving." with one dot and then proceeds to crash. This doesnt happen on any of my other saves, but im very distraught because i spent 120 hours on that world. Can anyone help?

Can you share your most recent error log? (Crashes don't always produce an error log, so you may not see any in the folder).
  • On Windows, press the windows key + R and enter %appdata%/stardewvalley/errorlogs.
  • On Mac, from your desktop click Go in the menubar (in the top right), then "Go to folder..." at the bottom of that menu. Enter ~/.config/StardewValley/ErrorLogs/.
If you have SMAPI installed, the best way to share a log is via https://smapi.io/log. Thanks! Also are you using any mods?

Of course! Also, i do not use any mods except for me changing the portraits through the png files. I wasn't able to get smapi to work, so i will post the picture here.

This is almost certainly what's causing the problem. You may want to upload a copy of your save and someone may be able to help.

UPDATE! Now after i recently downloaded some mods to stardew, saving just goes through the 3 dots and resets forever. Also I actually, i had just wiped my computer due to a file mistake that broke it, so the portraits werent edited in the first place. I'm not able to retrieve the files, due to me being stupid and downloading mods (smapi deletes the errorlogs) so i had to dig through the actual logs to find this. Anyways, heres the updated text!

I was able to somewhat salvage the original photo into text using an image to text app, but it isnt the best. Here it is.

Because it now simply does not save and continuously loads, it doesn't crash and send an error log.
If you can still use it, here it is!

I was able to get a full crash log from running stardew with no mods, so here is the whole thing.

The game is unable to access the backup save file and it needs to replace that before making the new save. Do you have that file open in another program? Could also be an antivirus program interfering in which case you may need to whitelist the Saves directory.

i dont have an antivirus on this computer yet, but i will try and allow all of my backup saves for the file to be edited. Is there any way i could allow the backups to be edited? And im also not quite sure what you mean by having the file open in another program. I am only running one instance of stardew.
