Switch [HELP] Crops/Produce not selling for correct price

I recently noticed my items aren't selling for the correct price, for example my honey which should be worth 100g is selling for 25g. I've tried selling in the bin as well as with Pierre's. I'm not sure if I clicked on a setting option or if something is wrong with the file. Other farm saves do sell for the appropriate price. Is there anything I could do to correct this?

Hello billiev!

Sounds like you changed the "Profit Margin" to 25% in the Advanced Settings when you created your farm. This means that crops sell for .25 of their normal value, but seeds also cost .25 of their regular value. Grass Starter, Sugar, Wheat Flour and Rice will have decreased prices as well, but everything else should stay the same.

Sadly, there is no way to change this after you've already created your farm, so you're stuck with it until you start a new farm. On the upside, it is an easy way to make the game more challenging, so if you're enjoying it, then great!

If you like the added challenge but think it's a bit too extreme, next time you could try setting it to 50% or 75% for a softer impact.
