Android [HELP] Crab pot is could not be set on a beach

Hi, I have the next problem. I can't set crab pot on a beach. The right place is far away from the coast.

Game version is 1.4.5.145
Redmi Note 4, Android 7.0

Can't you still walk over to the ones off the coast? I did that

I've just tried it several times before it works. It seems strange that I should take the pot and walk with it along the coast until it works.

I mean it needs to be in deep water or else it will not be in water. I also find it unfair how you have to use bait for the pots.

Try tapping the water between where you're standing and the green square.

If you take Trapper -> Luremaster for the fishing perks, you won't need to anymore :)
