Switch [HELP] Continuous disconnection in Co-op

hello,

my friend and i have been playing the game through online co-op for the past couple months, and within the past ~2 weeks our games have continuously disconnected us both from the server after an hour. we’ve both tested our internet contentions over and over, we’ve both restarted our switches and the games yet it doesn’t seem to fix itself.

when disconnected it says “sever closed connection” for me, and “a communication error has occurred” for my friend (they are the host). our games are in english, and in version 1.5.4. this issue does not happen in solo, only multiplayer.
*also we both play various other games in online co-op and have no communication issues

Three Years later, and this is still an issue. Myself and the two other people trying to play are all on Playstation 5, wired connection, no issues with any other game. But everytime we try to play this all three of us get disconnected every 1-3 in game days. It's incredibly irritating and annoying; I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet, as I've seen posts on here about this issue happening across all platforms, including PC, Switch, Xbox, and, of course, PlayStation.
