I am desperate at this point, I feel like I've tried all the fixes on the internet so here I am.
I've been playing modded Stardew with some of my friends, but one day, multiplayer stopped connecting. We've tried it without the mods, and are still struggling, so it's not a mod issue.
In essence, whenever I enter the invite code the screen moves to "Connecting" for a while, and then eventually says "Connection Failed". I'm not able to connect to my friends via Steam (won't show up in game or let me join with Steam overlay).
Some of the things I have tried (though likely not all of them):
- No longer using mods / starting without SMAPI
- Reinstalling Visual C++ 2013
- Restarting laptop
- Restarting router
- Reinstalling Stardew
- Trying to host (didn't work)
- Waiting a few days
- Uninstalling firewalls
