Android [HELP] Can't catch a single fish!!

The controls for fishing on Android are seriously difficult. I tap lightly & the bar flies to the top & by the time it comes back down time runs out. Can anyone help me figure out how to maneuver this?

You want to focus on very quick taps, the longer you hold down, the faster the bar will move, so you almost never want to do that. Even if you feel like the fish is outpacing you, try to do a number of quick taps, don't hold down.

You can also purchase the Training Rod from Willy which can help by only giving you lower level fish to catch :)
