Hello there!

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum! I am not new to Stardew Valley though, my first playthrough was last year-ish, when I gave the game a shot, loved the vibes (even though winter was brutal). but quit in a while because I just didn't know what to do LOL

I get the game is meant to be consumed at my own pace, so I'm prepared to give it another shot! Would love any advice though, I'm really a novice farmer at best :')

(Also, wow this is like the first forum I've been in with such a nice UI :O)

Looking forward to making new farmer friends! :D

Hi Retek and welcome to the forums! You can play Stardew any way you like! It's a sim game so you can sim:

Fashion
Dating
Mining
Treasure Hunter
Social Butterfly
apparently Farming
Dungeon Crawler
Antisocial Moth
Blacksmith
Heartbreaker/Portrait Collector
...and countless others

Farmer Bobbi always chooses the Lazy Farming™ route because doing the bare minimum of farming to get things done first is just wayyyy less stress, and second leaves the rest of the day for more fun things like:

nothing.

OK yeah yeah she also likes attending all Festivals and cosplays as a Pirate for that treasure hunting bit, and also pretends she's a seamstress mostly so wife Emily won't be disappointed in her, but really you can play any and all the ways you like. And here at the Forums you'll find just that, sooooooo many different and fun ways to play the game!

Hiii! I actually had a similar thing, quit the game because I didn't know what to do after the CC besides grind for obelisks and the clock, and that seemed boring.

Yup, and its best played spoilerless, but if you ever get really stuck again getting advice is really worth it.
How far have you gone that playthrough? Finished the community center/Joja form? Visited GI? Got the into that cave in cindersap forest?

Here's some stuff that might not be obvious, but can be interesting to do:
- tailor a bunch of stuff; on one of my first saves, I got obsessed with putting random stuff in the sewing machine
- incubating slimes (just don't use slime hutches)
- building fish ponds and putting in fish that changes the water colour, all legendaries do and a few more, but I'm not gonna name them

Welp while my slowfingers were busy typing allat stuff's already been suggested, so I leave this at that unless I think up something that hasn't been mentioned.
