I love the living room and the book room, the color palette really brings it all together also how did you get so many rooms?
Ty 😊 I'll do my best that every room fits in the end...
You get the rooms, when you upgrade and renovate your house. First upgrade adds a kitchen and a bedroom, which is the living room now. The second a nursery (now the library) and a room on the second floor (now the "office" at the left side). The other rooms are House renovations, which you can do after upgrading the house twice, I think. One renovation's still missing, the actual bedroom can be expanded with another big room. All of the upgrades and renovations are available at Robin's. Upgrades need money and resources, renovations just the money. And not to forget about your spouses room...

Hm, tbh idk for sure, depends on how fast you make money and what you priorize to buy first... The furniture catalogues I used (2 regular + Junimo + Wizard+Retro) aren't cheap, roundabout 550.000 g. And so are the Upgrades and renovations... Some furniture or decorations you can buy at Desert Festival or Desert/Island Trader or get from villagers... 😏 it usually takes me until Year 3 or 4 to get the house that big and decorated, I do the 3 Upgrades first to have a cellar. Then it depends on how fast the money comes in and if there's a marriage in sight, cause I like my guys to have much room for strolling around and do whatsoever 🥰

Whenever you want and have the money to do it... Opens the Calico Desert with a Festival and a few more options to forage, fish, fight and trade... Idk if you mentioned it yet, but you play at your own speed, there is no need to hurry and if you don't accomplish something within a certain time there will be no punishment, unless you're playing Junimo Kart or JotPK 😉
Don't feel any pressure, some people here do speedruns or so, but that's no commitment at all. This game is lazy in a way, so enjoy the laziness, if you can.

The desert is really important tho once you get the greenhouse. Kind of a waste to not start a Starfruit farm once you have the money down for it.

I'm on winter of Y3 and I also have the Joja Junimo and Wizard catalogue. Haven't found the retro one yet but I'm saving for obesiliks anyways. Marriage is a easy point for evaluation so upgrading the house is actually pretty important. Cellar is quite frankly usless because it's completely passive money.

After the greenhouse. The oasis stocks arguably the best seeds in the game Starfruit seeds. By the time you can really start dumping ancient seed into seed makers you need a reliable source of income. Starfruit is great for selling and also the wine. It's the highest selling crop in the game except Sweet Gem Berry which is not really reliable lmfaoo. I unlocked both bus and greenhouse by the end of Y2 since I went Joja but you should get the greenhouse first. Get some animals because you will need the coins for winter.

You can only get it from the Travellers Cart, as far as I know. But it's the first time I got it.

That's true, they're all expensive. Idk if it can be found right from the beginning, maybe it appears later in game.
They can be found from the beginning of the game. I tend to find rare seeds every Friday and Sunday that I visit the cart from the beginning of Spring to the end of Summer. Usually there's just 1 seed for sale, but I have occasionally found 5 (like once a year, but I often forget to check).
In Fall and Winter it's rarely up for sale.

I'm afraid we were talking about the retro catalogue... 😏
But I'm with you, I go for the rare seeds from the beginning and by the end of fall you get a bit money for some stuff 🙂
