PC Golden Walnut Bug

Hi, I am sure you have heard of the bug that players are not able to achieve perfection due to being stuck on 129 out of 130 golden walnuts. The parrot keeps saying it is in the pages of the journal but I have collected a walnut from each of those places and now am out of luck. On top of that, I have found a glitch with the /recountnuts command that seemingly just gives me an infinite amount of golden walnuts. Those can in turn be sold at Qui shop with no issues and turned into cash from there. This really breaks the game, and I just want to have my golden walnut. Hopefully there is a known fix?

Okay, if you're stuck on 129/130 after using the /recountnuts command...

(...and yes, the fact that the command can be used to get infinite golden walnuts is a known exploit...)

...I'm inclined to believe that you've missed a nut. Could you check to see if the parrot gives you a hint? If he does, we can help you narrow down what nut it is you need based on that hint. If he does not give you a hint, that narrows it down as well. The parrot does not give a hint for the nuts that can be acquired from the pirate's dart game, the 1 nut that is found on a bush at the sound end of the gem bird shrine and the 3 nuts you can get from the banana shrine. Being at 129/130 with no hints from the parrot means you'd be missing the 1 from the gem shrine bush or 1 of the golden walnuts you can get from the dart game.

I was actually having this same issue yesterday. It was saying it was hidden in the pages of the journal. I couldn't find it. But, after looking, I found that it was the one up by the volcano mountain in the tree that you can hit the slingshot. I don't know if this will help you but that's where mine was missing.

He does have the hint, the one "Hidden in the pages of the journal." I have looked through all the journal scraps and have dug at all the spots. The one on the beach, one by Birdies hut and the one with the ostrich egg. I have also got the one you need to shoot down with a slingshot by the parrot express.

I followed this Tutorial where it says the missing one is journal six with a pearl. I feel like I have got this one for sure if it is on the beach with the docks. I will try and look there again today.
