Hello ConcernedApe and the Stardew Valley community!I would like to report a very strange and persistent visual bug regarding lighting and sprite layering (Z-order). I initially noticed this with mods, but I did a completely clean reinstallation of the game, created a brand-new save, and tested it on a 100% vanilla version. The issue is still fully present. As you can clearly see in the newly attached screenshot where I placed multiple lampposts across the farm, there is a literal invisible rendering boundary cutting through the map:Left side of the boundary: All lampposts render completely fine. The soft light glow layer sits correctly on top of the lamppost sprite, making it look natural.Right side of the boundary: The layer order suddenly gets inverted for every single lamppost. The solid dark texture of the lamppost post incorrectly renders on top of its own light source layer. This blocks the glow and cuts the light circle exactly in half.Furthermore, I have tested this across multiple different maps in the game. This invisible boundary is not exclusive to the Farm map — it happens on other locations as well (like the Town or Forest), where a specific coordinate line suddenly changes how the lighting engine and object sprites interact.Since this happens on a completely clean vanilla installation, it seems to be an engine-level sorting bug with how light maps and object sprites handle depth calculations across different map coordinates.Could this global layering issue please be looked into and patched?Thank you so much for your amazing dedication to the game and for listening to the community!
