Switch Glitch string of code text (Monster Eradication Goals, weddings, SquidFest, etc)

Instead of “5 beans required” or whatever it usually says when you try to insert less than 5 coffee beans into a keg it’s now saying a random line of code “localizedtextstrings” something. This is only since I just downloaded the update on switch and reloaded

Switch just updated now getting this instead of in game text. This specifically is when trying to put 4 coffee beans in a keg. I will wander around and see if I get this text anywhere else. v1.6.15 build 2. Also seeing coding where monster slayer goals should be

Just uploaded the new 1.16.15 on switch. Playing unmodded, single player, meadowlands farm. Clicked counter.

I found smth weird in the adventures guild when I click on the monster slayer goal list this weird thing pops up something like strings// location weird things like that Idk if Mr.Ape's codes got messed up or smth

New update on Nintendo Switch has the Monster Eradication Goals looking like text from files. Anyone else has this?

When entering the beach from town on 9th Winter Year 2, I encountered a black screen for several seconds (much longer than typical load time). Then, I interacted with the SquidFest billboard and noticed the following text at the beginning of the billboard message:

[letterbg LooseSprites\\squidFestLetterBG 0]

This was encountered on Switch v1.6.15 build 2 on 2025/02/27.

After Lewis said his thing about thinking player would never fit in, text becomes just code/blank boxes. Sorry, didn’t catch an image

Yup - I saw this same code while playing last night and when I tried to open the door in the back the game crashed. I was on local co-op.

Yeah I didn’t crash for me but it just stays like that, makes it kinda harder to read what I need to slay.

Hey all, I merged multiple threads about the same issue into one to keep track of them more easily. So far, the places that have been reported with glitched text are:

- The pop-up message when putting less than 5 coffee beans in a keg.
- Moster Eradication goals.
- SquidFest billboard.
- Lewis' marriage dialogue.
- Pierre's shop counter when he is not there.

While I was getting married to Sebastian, as Mayor Lewis begins talking to him, he spits out a bunch of garbled text in four separate text boxes, and then the event ends like normal.

Finally updated my game on switch and I am getting this when I try to check my goals in the Adventurers Guild.

Downloaded the update today and noticed some weird programming text at the top of the SquidFest (Winter 12 & 13) message board on the beach.

These issues started occuring after i installed the patch last night on my switch. I actually closed the game so i could relive the day of my wedding but it updated the software when i reopened it, which corrupted the wedding text specifically everything mayor lewis says after "sebastian.."

i found it also displays wrongly on the monster kill count board in the adventurers guild, which was working normally before the update. there may be more places this is happening that i havent found yet.
