PlayStation Ginger island volcano is broken

I’m playing on 1.6.3 update on my PlayStation 4, playing split screen multiplayer with my partner and we’ve encountered several annoying bugs with the game but this one is by far the funniest (I will be reporting the rest later). The volcano on ginger island is just repeating the same entry level with no mobs and full access to the top of the volcano but when you get to level 5 the lava changes to water and we’re now unable to get the golden walnuts from the volcano or get to the Dwarf’s shop area.

We're having the exact same problem on xbox series X. I'm player 2 and I generate the broken floors but my partner as player 1 can generate floors normally. (Also their gold pickaxe is breaking things as fast as my iridium but only in the volcano which is just plain rude lol)

Literally if I walk through the door first I get the same empty room but when partner walks in rocks and enemies generate and they see a normal floor layout while I have to leave and come back. Like I see my room 1 layout with her rocks and enemies spawned in overtop until I back out and re-enter the room.

It's the weirdest thing. Super unfortunate that I'm the combat focused one of the pair of us but I need my partner to come hold my hand through the volcano otherwise I break the room generation

Same thing is happening to me and my partner currently. Every level is the exact same, level 5 turns to water with no way to reach the trader, and the shortcut to the forge is already open. Also noticed that occasionally duggies and spirits can spawn (usually 1-2) but are also slightly bugged with the death sound/animation.

Same thing here. Volcano is empty for player 2.
