Switch Ginger Island missing ground

So I finally unlocked Ginger Island on the Switch and was super excited to explore! I went north to the area by the volcano and the ground texture is completely missing. It’s just a sea of this blue nothingness and it’s kinda unpleasant to look at. Has anyone else on Switch had this problem and know how to fix it?

I have the same issue but don't know of any fix. It has caused a lot of issues with exploring and finding walnuts though. Would love to see a fix for this.

For the Switch, can you verify files? This sounds like the texture was flawed at install.

My friend and I have the same issue with the Switch Version.

This has been a known issue since release on all consoles.
