Issue Game lagging

Hi! I recently got sve and it was awesome. I played the 1st day without any problems but the next day when I started the game smapi took around 5-6 minutes to load the mods (it used to take 10-30 seconds ) and the game was laggy. Is there any way to improve the gameplay?

Thank you for replying. The thing is I deleted the sve file because it was too laggy. Should I install it back?

Edit:Also, a friend of mine said that PyTK is causing the lag but I'm not sure.

First -
Is there still an issue after you deleted SVE? If there is, I’d still suggest doing the parse log and sharing it. If there is no issue, then reinstall SVE, and see if it occurs again. If it does, then do the parse log and share it.

Second -
There is potential issues with having PyTK and TMXL both installed, due to them canceling out recent performance updates from SMAPI and Content Patcher.

Additional note - it’ll see also be beneficial overall to see your parse log regardless, to see all the mods you have installed, given how it could be potentially something else as well that might be conflicting with another mod or the like. ^^

I'm not sure why it didn't flag the update for SMAPI, but there is a SMAPI update available (3.15, which you have 3.14.7)

Keeping SMAPI and mods up-to-date is extremely beneficial and important to do (especially when there are patches/updates made to the default/vanilla game, and SMAPI and/or mods get updated to run smoothly with those patches/updates). Doing so can resolve issues. It’ll also assist in better showing any errors.

There are a couple things that look to need to be adjusted, but first please update SMAPI, and then send a new parse log. That way, in case it picks up other errors, can address them in one go.

Also, remember when you update SMAPI, you go through the same steps as when you first installed SMAPI.
