Solved Game freeze when opening geodes

The game freezes for a while everytime I open geodes at Clint's shop. It will freeze when the item inside the geode shows up

I'm having the same issue, game freezes as soon as the item from the geode pops up. It'll freeze for about 20 seconds and either unfreeze or straight up crash.

I'm also having the same issue. Game freezes for 20ish seconds then keeps going. Happened every time for the 9 geodes opened.

same thing to me, after the game freezes and I see the item my screen becomes all black and the game reset

Having the same issue, never had this crash before the updated and they recently launched an update but still no fix, guess I'm gonna have to avoid opening geodes atm.
