Switch Game crashing on switch constantly 1.6

I’ve had big issues mid gameplay, no matter what I’m doing or where, my game crashes and the console says “the software was closed because an error occurred”. This happens every couple of in game days and it’s extremely frustrating as I’m playing with someone else on split screen and our days progress is lost ! It happened maybe once before the 1.6 update but since the update it’s been happening an awful lot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same here, I can't make out a pattern, sadly. It just randomly seems to be crashing. On 1.6.9 build 37

I am also having this problem: the game crashes and shows the code "the software was closed because an error occurred." It only happens when playing split-screen co-op. My partner and I can only play a few days before it crashes. We experience glitches throughout gameplay where both of our screens freeze even if we aren't doing an action simultaneously. v1.6.9 build 37.

I’m having the same issue when I go to bed to save. I’m on Winter 1 and twice in a row, after completing a full day, I go to bed and get the same error message before it saves, wiping that entire day’s progress. Incredibly frustrating, not even sure what to do from here.

I have the same issue on mobile, the game opens fine and the day starts but as soon as I try to leave my house it crashes out and I lose my progress. I'm on year 7 and really don't want to lose this file. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Same here with the crashing when going to sleep on split screen. Happens randomly when we both goto the same bed but haven't tried using tents or different homes to see if it happens with those too, there might be a work around while we wait maybe. Have the newest Stardew patch on switch 1.6.9.37

Mine is crashing but only when I try to demolish a farmhands house. The day works fine until I go to bed and then it crashes and days "the software was closed because an error occured"
