A few months ago, my computer suddenly died. I wasn't involved in the repair process, but I believe it was a hard drive problem. While I lost everything I didn't back up, the Steam cloud saved all of my save information on all of my other games. However, since then, I have not been able to get into any of my Stardew saves from before my computer died. I've tried all of the helpful information this forum provides on corrupt files and nothing worked.
The process exactly: I open Load Game, I choose the game I want, it will try to open with the "Loading..." pop up at the bottom, then the game just closes without warning, and I'm back at my desktop.
I have no idea what's causing it, if its Steam or Stardew or whatever.
