Switch Game crashes when entering farm buildings

Occasionally when my player enters a farm building like a shed or coop, the game crashes and the screen goes black. The sound carries on though. Only way I've found to get round it is to reset the Switch. When it happens I always have to start the day over. Luckily it's only ever happened in the morning but even then I've often done a lot of the petting, collecting, mayo making etc so I have to do that over again. I did search for any posts about this issue, couldn't see any. Hope someone can help.

The exact same thing is happening to me lately. It’s happened twice now, the second time while I was trying to redo the progress I lost having to reset. If someone knows how to resolve this I’d be very grateful.
I’m playing on an OLED if anyone thinks that makes a difference?

Thanks for replying - fwiw I'm on the standard switch. I also play on Switch Lite and funnily enough I don't think it's happened on that.
