Switch Game crashes when both players strike an enemy in Volcano Dungeon

Game crashes everytime both players strike an enemy inside the Volcano Dungeon. We used a tent outside the entrance and the game crashed as soon as we both hit the same enemy. Unsure if it's every enemy type or only Hot heads. It happened to us every time we both struck a Hot head.
