Fruit tree fruit

I save the base and silver quality fruits to use for Qi's Prismatic quest, gold and iridium I usually either just sell, use for gifts or use for cooking. Although dehydrating is a great way to quickly get fast money, since my kegs and preserve jars are usually filled with things that give better returns.

I set aside apricots for the prismatic grange quest. Sometimes I make wine, as I don't always grow enough ancient fruit or star fruit to fill my kegs.

Depends on where I'm at with my Farm.

Early game:
Apples to Fodder and Artisan CC Bundles
Oranges go to Gus
Pomegranates go to Elliott if I don't have Duck Feathers yet
the Rest get stored

Mid and usually Late Game:
Fruit is the next thing to get put into Jars when I run out of: Starfruit, Ancient Fruit, Pineapple, Rhubarb, Pumpkins.

In Late game if I'm accumulating a lot of :goldstar: or :iristar: then I'll sell those directly as I'll never get to Jarring them.

I have bunches of Fruit because I've done many Skull Cavern runs now that I figured out how, and ended getting loads of Fruit Tree Saplings. So I'm replanting my Ginger Farm as a Fruit orchard. Here's how it's going:

Way cool! But how are you functioning without upgraded axe/pickaxe? Or maybe just like the au natural look? Then I take it you must have the clock or the weeds would suffocate growing trees. Well whichever it’s looking very pretty and I dare say original idea here. I’ve seen lots of ginger island farms but none a solely fruit tree farm! Well done!👍

I have been keeping all the unique and non-replaceable cosmetic items on both of my farms as permanent decorations. So the big stumps, logs, large stones and meteors are treated respectfully as integral parts of the Stardew experience and I need to accommodate them and long term, design around them.

Mushroom Trees are similar but I maintain them as a managed forest as I rather need the Mushroom Hat which is a drop from cutting them down. I keep all Mushroom seeds and replace and let them spread. Best thing is the Mushroom Trees planted themselves right in the middle of the Farm rock garden. Dual use location!

Feeling very dumb right now, cause for some reason I've always thought that only summer trees would bear fruit on Ginger Island. 😕

Welp...

Hoard them, I'll often plant a full 14 or 18 in the greenhouse with the intent of using them for cash (as they're great per tile profit), but can't be bothered putting in that much additional effort to do so, and all my fruits just end up in a chest.

Means I always have a good hoard for cooking and gifting though (the old fruit tree fruits are all universally liked and have a couple loved gifts too)

It's basically a giant greenhouse in every regard, so that means any season crops and trees sprout
