I am level 10 fishing and using an iridium rod with both bait and tackle. I can catch all qualities of fish as per usual game play, but it suddenly changes to only catch normal quality fish. I have noticed it on a number of occasions with no real trigger that I can pin point.
- Catching a number of varied quality fish as normal, then all of a sudden only catching normal quality
- Catching a number of varied quality fish as normal, then I eat/drink something and then only catching normal quality. I will continue to catch normal quality even when the food/drink effect has worn off
- Catching high quality fish in town as normal, move to beach and only catching normal fish there, go back to town and only catching normal fish
- Fishing for the first time in the game day and catching only normal quality
I usually give up on fishing for the day after testing if there’s anything I can do to reset and catch all qualities again (never been successful in resetting) and then it reverts back to correct qualities the next day. I only fish every couple of days but this bug more often than not.
Has anyone had the same issue and know if there’s anything I can do to correct this?
