Does anyone know how to fish? I try and try, but no fish? :(. I must not be doing something right?

so, you are on switch so it would be Y i assume to move the green bar. you move it up and down by pressing down on Y. Pressing makes the bar go Up and relaasing makes the bar go Down. you want the green bar on the fish, which makes the bar on the right go up. when the progress bar reaches the top you get your fish. if you need to, you can buy the training rod from Willy's for 75 gold. that helps, but you can only catch common fish.

also, as you level up in fishing it gets easier and eventually you can buy new rods from willy. the fiberglass rod is the first to let you use Bait, which lets you catch fish faster, then Deluxe bait that makes the green bar bigger wich the fiberglass already does. i would recommend getting the rod as its only 1800g and is a good investment if you are going to focus fishing.
