Switch Fighting/mining animations won't disappear

Switch Version 1.6.9.36

Playing in Split Screen with two players, new Meadowland Farm.

Host player took the elevator to level 20 and stairs to 21 and while mining/fighting the animations appeared and wouldn't disappear. It started with a white spot, which was left from the party hat while moving around. It continued with the mining, picking up minerals and sword swinging. We could hear monsters on the level but couldn't see them.

I left the mine with the stairs and reentered. The same effect happened again on 22.

This had no effect on the second player while fishing or while being in the mine on another level.

I also noticed that. Though, when the animations started getting stuck, i could not gather any of the dropped materials. Leaving and reentering the mine did seem to reset things. I was also the host on a split screen game.

I had the same issue starting around that floor and going forward. When it happens, if you take the ladder up then elevator back, or if you are on a floor with a ladder down that you can take, it will correct itself.

At the end of that day, after the save, you should definitely exit the game and restart - otherwise it will 100% crash within two game days.
