Don't call me weird but I feel proud of myself that I have collected golden walnuts.

It is very rewarding to see the island come alive and transform due to all your hard work tracking down and collecting the golden walnuts. Nothing weird about that at all!
I was very proud (and very exhausted) of collecting the golden walnuts from the singing crystal cave. Took me entirely too long and drove my old brain crazy, but I eventually got a sequence of patterns I was able to remember. On my upcoming 1.6 playthrough, I think I will just save those for last, and ask the parrot to "acquire" them for me instead.

Nothing odd at all, especially now when there's the everpresent option of just purchasing them it's absolutely an achievement to find them yourself, great job!

No i forgot to write that the odd thing is i have always buy it before Sunday in all of my saves, and it will always be the last thing i wanna buy probaly because im disgusted with pierre in his short.

Type /recountnuts into the chat if your platform supports it and the game will refund nuts the game somehow miscounted that you don't have invested in any of the ginger island upgrades.
This is meant to help for players whose game has made such an error, though it accidentally also includes walnuts you've spent on qi gems (something you can do once you've purchased all of the ginger island upgrade with your last something like 14 walnuts), and it means you can buy gems, refund, and repeat.
Know this is effectively duping so if you have any sort of game morality when it comes to playing that way and keeping integrity to the way you play, stay away, otherwise do whatever its your file (though talk with other players if you're in multiplayer).

Collecting them all manually, is an achievement worth of boasting about and not feeling the slightest shame, to! Even with reading a guide.
But in my later runs, i merely buy them from Joja Parrot. A very taxing endeavor and no mistake!

I collected approx. 45 golden walnuts and then purchased rest of them from Joja Parrot.
The process to collect walnuts was devastating to my patience.
I was totally overwhelmed while watching video and playing game simultaneously .
Fortunately we can pay for this.

Well, Joja Parrot is a no-go for me. I understand why it is here gameplay-wise, but I would really like a way to remove it from Ginger Island, especially once all golden walnuts are found. Same goes with Fizz. If I would name two things to remove (or at least made avoidable) from update 1.6, those win easily.

BTW that Simon says felt a bit easier on my current run. I've found all the walnuts pretty easily (now I'm waiting the very last one from "shelly stones on the beach". But I'll probably buy waivers from Fizz to avoid hunting blueprints and making stupid things I don't want or need in my playthrough. There was a mod for that but it acted weird. Though there is something that fixes the problem of craftables etc. from mods which sometimes are impossible especially when some mods interact and you only have one of them (type a mod has recipes made of stuff added by another mod).

I probably would have used that mod, but I play on Switch, so no mods for me! I do enjoy hunting all the walnuts down myself, though. Just not the ones from that crystal cave.
Though, it's good that CA added the parrot, for those who feel differently, and no longer enjoy hunting them manually.
