Does mobile multiplayer work well?

So i've heard there is a way to play multiplayer on mobile.

Anyone know if it works well enough to play together?

My dad saw me playing the game and read it had a multiplayer function on pc, and wanted us to have a farm together.

But we rather have it on mobile cause it is how i play and have it, and otherwise we would both have to buy the game for pc.

So anyone have an idea, if so thanks in advance

Hell no. Mobile multiplayer is a trainwreck I tried three times to try and connect it didn't work.

Yeah it doesn't work well at all, but I was able to play with my sister so its worth to at least try

Well we'll just try and otherwise we can still pc it it's only 80 pence on mobile anyway

If you are in the same physical location, you can play splitscreen using one PC and thus only need one copy of the game (player 2 will need a controller, though).

It functions, but it wasn't released in a completed state, so it's rather limited, and runs into issues, especially a mobile device is the one hosting.

It's definitely usable, and if you like to play on mobile it's just another feature (over not having it), but I definitely wouldn't play it if you're going to be annoyed at little issues constantly popping up, because that probably will happen

It sucks with all the connectivity issues over long distance. I think local would be fine tho.
