The battery is for the railroad tunnel at the left of the bus stop. That’s different quest.
Where exactly do you get stuck? Sorry I mixed up two parts of the quest above.
you need to go up to the railway station to unlock the quest (after you finish cc/joja).
Then go to the sewer, talk to Krobus to have him unlock the back part of the sewer, then go there to get the talisman.
Go back to the the weird block behind the railway station. Go in there and stand on the sign on the ground.
this unlocks the next quest which is called “goblin problem”.
Talk to the goblin blocking your way. There are two in-game ways to solve this: the solution to bribing the goblin is in one of the library books, or you can tryfishing near him. Goblins love void mayonnaise, so give him one and he’ll run away with it.
then enter the witches hut, grab the ink and talk to the wizard.
