Crossplatform Multiplayer (Mac) - (PS5)

Hi completely new here , my partner plays this game to no end and I want to surprise her by being able to play with them , unfortunately I do not have the same platform as them (Mac) , I have a PS5 I was wondering if I am able to play with them on the multiplayer , or do I need to purchase myself a Mac in order to play with them, which I would rather avoid. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Hi! There is no crossplay between Mac and PS5. You don't need a Mac specifically, just something that also runs the game on Steam, so Windows and Linux computers also work.
