I have been wanting to share this idea for a while, and now here I am, a bit fed up with how children work in Stardew Valley. Right now, they feel like moving furniture. They all look identical, they grow up exactly the same way, and all they do is sprint aimlessly around the house in pyjamas. You don’t get to interact with them, talk to them, or build a bond. Which is why i thought why don’t we customise our childs personality, what they look like and how they treat other people. By year two of them being on the farm they turn into the age of jas and Vincent’s age. For example you wake up first day of spring and you see a control centre which lets you pick your childs look and personality. After you decided the look you wake up normally and then you can spot your child in their room but this time instead of just clicking on them and they get love and calling it a day you can click on them and you can chat to them ask questions and they will respond. You can also gift them. They will also leave the house to go to the library and study with Vincent and Jas except weekends. After another 2 years the same thing happens you wake up with control centre but instead you are designing your teenager. Again you decided how they look and personality but there are more options than you think and after clicking the done button your child is in the kitchen. You can still talk to them and interact. They would go to the saloon to hang out, go on walks, hang out at the beach and maybe help penny teach jas and Vincent. Note I have thought this through if the children grow up then wont Jas and Vincent grow up too. Also if they grow up wont Evelyn and George age and pass away. Well what if they don’t. Jas and Vincent stay the same, Evelyn and George don't die the timeline stays frozen but the children grow until the age of 15 to 16. It would also be cool if they had birthdays from the day they were born. Now there is mods on PC so you get to see your children grow up but what about the people on Nintendo, Xbox, PlayStation and mobile We don't have mods i think this update would be really fun for every player So instead of the children being moving furniture they get to mean something in the game. I think it would also be fun if they attended the Stardew Valley festivals like the egg hunt, moonlight jellies etc. please make this happen.
