Confusing large penality in Maru 2heart dialogue

In the second heart event of Maru, you are asked a question which then affect Demetrius friendship. The second option removes almost half a heart, yet the answer given isn't offensive.

"Actually, your dad was being weird" sounds more like a joke than an attack. In fact, "(say nothing)" is subjectively more offensive than saying this. -100 friendship for something confusing makes little sense. Considering his quite hard to get loved gifts on y1, this is a full week of gifts.

Either reduce to -10 (opposite of the other answer which is +10) or change the text line to something more direct such as "Actually, your dad is lying"

Honestly, I think this was one of the weaker heart events for a marriage candidate, especially since the dialogue option doesn't affect your friendship with Maru. I would have expected that she'd appreciate you being straight with her than hiding the fact that her protective dad discouraged you from continuing your relationship with her.

Would have been better if it was a Demetrius heart event than Maru's, it wasn't the same with Penny's or Harvey's when they tried helping George and your answer won't affect George's friendship. The answer that encouraged heart points towards Demetrius's friendship kinda left a bad taste in my mouth.

This heart event needs a little fine tuning. I'm missing an option where you just agree to Demetrius or tell Maru the truth.
