This is a bit complicated, but basically I currently have the 24 item capacity backpack. I went to the Community Center while carrying 24 items. I completed the Spring Crops section in the pantry and received a reward of 20 Speed-Gro fertilizers, but because my backpack was already full, I had to drop an item to get the Speed-Gro. So I dropped a copper ore, but then I opened up the Pantry Bundle screen again to see if there was anything else I could submit the bundles. There wasn’t, but when I picked up an item to attempt to submit it into one of the bundles, the copper ore that I dropped was added back into my backpack. So now I’m stuck in this weird spot where I cannot drop the ore and I can’t put any items in the bundles, and it will not allow me to exit the bundles screen. The only way out is to force the game to quit.
