Xbox Co-op issues - is ConcernedApe aware?

Hi,

I’ve tried searching online for anyone else’s fixes and found quite a few people saying that as of 3/4 months ago, their co-op games keep saying ‘connection lost’ every few nights in-game. Unfortunately me and my wife are experiencing the same issue, we will do a lot in a day, go to bed together with me as the host, and the game will not save.

We’ve had to redo full days around 20/25 times since we started playing two weeks ago and I’m worried it’s going to keep getting worse. There are no WiFi issues, we’re both in the same house mostly when we play, but even when we are playing in different homes it keeps doing it. We’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, done WiFi resets, done hard resets on XBox console, etc.

Do we know if there’s any awareness to this or if there’s already a fix on the way? Being able to play such an amazing game co-op is by far one of the most outstanding things about this game but it really gets exhausting when we constantly lose our progress. :(

We just spent over an hour doing the festival thing in the Autumn earning star tokens… and when we tried to save, it said failed connection again. 😢

Same problem here. We have a coop game and it crashes randomly (when going to sleep) after 2,3,4,5 days.
We then have to redo the same day again.
I hope there will be a fix soon.
I've been playing this game for years on pc and it doesn't happend once, but on Xbox it happen at least 15 times over the past two weeks... Its kinda frustrating.
I will still play the game because its so awesome, but if it wasn't that good, I think I would have given up.

I hope this is a priority for the team to resolve.

My wife and I attempted our annual run and came across the same issue. Days lost, with no clear rhyme or reason for the "network connection lost". We pushed through it, but it was frustrating. Until one crash, the whole save deleted. I could find a blank farm in the "Load" option, but it would not appear when I went to host online multiplayer.

We're bummed. This has been a ritual for us for years.

me and my friend have been dealing w the same issue and its super frustrating, we thought maybe the save was corrupt on our xbox, we tried new saves and it still happens no matter whos hosting. its around every 10th day or so w seemingly no explanation or repeating cause. "lost connection to sever" and we have to redo that day-over and over and over. wev gotten used to exiting after it saves each 7 days and only run into the issue occasionally now but we shouldnt have to. 1.6.15.1 version

January 2026, this is still an issue. My partner and I just got to Summer 26 Y1, lost connection, and the save file is gone.

What changed to create this bug? Why has this been an issue for so long?

I can confirm the issue is still ongoing at least for my friends and me. It is so frustrating because I love the game and it is very enjoyable when you play co-op. We are always worried to go to sleep in fear of the game having "connection server" issues and losing progress for the day. It isnt the connection or wifi as we have rotating hosting multiple files. Moreover, it keeps happening every 5 days or so. It is preventing some Xbox console players from playing because no one is giving insight into when it will be fixed nor addressing it sadly.

My girlfriend and I are also running into this issue. I'm playing on ps5 and they are playing on ps4. We've both checked our WiFi, done the test connection on the Playstation, restarted the systems, restarted the game, with no fixes.
I hope someone is seeing this issue and working on a fix.
