Windows Click not registering some of the time.

When I'm playing Stardew my clicks aren't always registered. ~70% off the time it is, but there's that 30% of the time where it won't, sometimes several clicks in a row still won't be registered. I happens randomly and it happens pretty often enough to be infuriatingly annoying. My mouse works perfectly fine in every other game, and on my computer in general so it must be a stardew problem. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work. What can I do to fix this? Is this a case of reinstalling a driver, or is it more complicated? I have a HID-Compliant mouse apparently according to device management if that helps.

I have the same problem, i bought a new mouse, thinking the old one was broken, but it keeps happening. Playing on Samsung laptop, windows 11. SDV 1.6. EDIT: I use mods, but the same issue happens when i uninstall them.

I solved the problem by going to my laptop settings under Devices & Bluetooth > Touchpad > Touch sensitivity and changing it to maximum sensitivity / no delay.
Some devices cause a delay with the left mouse button when used alongside keyboard keys; that was the case for me, and I only noticed it while gaming, as that was the only time I used them simultaneously.
