Pregnancy:
It would be more realistic if the pregnant mother in the game acted more like an actual pregnant mother. Right now sometimes the spouse comments on how their excited they are to be a father/mother, but that really isn’t much. And if it is a same gender couple, they tell you the adoption papers have been filed, but when did you pick the baby?! Anyway, let’s get on to the actual adoption part.

Adoption:
Hey, I was just thinking, how many SDV children could we possibly adopt in a future update? Some could be easy to adopt in the regular game, and some could be rare easter eggs:

Jas: I think that if I marry Shane, I should probably be able to adopt Jas, right? Since Shane is Jas’ godfather?

Leo & Vincent: What if once I have 8 hearts with every child in town (not including the players children) and I go to the egg festival and WIN, I go to the mayor and pay a certain amount of money, at least like, 5,000, I get permission from Kent, Jodi, and Linus, and adopt both Leo and Vincent.

Player’s Children: This would be easy. I just thought maybe instead of only couples of the same gender adopting children, the unmarried player can adopt, or if you’re married to someone of the opposite gender you still can adopt. Also what if it was an actual day you pick a baby or even young child at the adoption agency?

I think an actual adoption agency would be nice. Why can’t you adopt if you aren’t married to someone the same gender as you? And why can’t you adopt children? I also think the players' children should have a fifth stage, about the age of Leo, Vincent, and Jas.

Local Legend
Maybe if you marry Sam then Vincent can go live with "big bro" on the farm.

And there's plenty of room to work into Kent's character for this. Maybe Kent's PTSD isn't working out for home-life. How old was Vincent when Kent left? Does he even recognize his father anymore? Did he ever really know him before that either? Idk. I think that's the most likely way to work in a Vincent arc.
