Most of them are spot-on, but Caroline and Robin look a bit too young—given their kids’ ages, they must be in their late thirties at least, and even with good skincare, a woman that age is bound to have a few laugh lines.
I don't know about that. Robin and Caroline in those pictures look older than I looked when I was 40. Now that I approach 50, my cheeks are sagging a bit, but I still look closer in age to them than I do to Marnie (for one thing my hair's yet to even start to turn gray, and my temples still have the roundedness of youth). Of course, Marnie's lived a more active life, so it stands to reason that she looks more weathered, hair dyed but not bothering to re-dye it too often. Maybe Robin might need a few more wrinkles, considering her having a hot temper. With the face, it's more a case of "use it
to lose it" since the more you use your facial muscles to display emotions, the more wrinkles you get.
Good genes can do a lot. When my mom turned 50, she didn't disclose the exact age to her co-workers and there were those that thought she turned 35, despite knowing her two oldest children had moved out. (for reference, I was in my late 20's back then) I've definitely got her youth genes.
