Cultist O
Greenhorn
I don't know if it has something to do with my computer, but I am having a great deal of trouble playing the game with the way thunder currently works.
Despite rain being in the "Ambient" sound category, the thunder cracks are unaffected by this slider. Putting the regular sound to the point I can barely hear it still results in thunder that peaks my audio, and hurts my ears.
Currently, I'm muting my machine whenever I walk outside in a thunderstorm, but that makes the game really unimmersive, and things like fishing are really difficult without sound.
I recommend one of the following, in order of decreasing preference:
A) Adding a new slider for thunder (there may be other sounds that could be split off into this category. Bombs?)
B) Adding a toggle for thunder altogether
C) Moving thunder to the Ambient category. This would still mean I couldn't listen to the pretty rain etc. during storms, but it would be better than losing the functional sounds.
Or, if thunder is this loud for everyone, tone it down a bit
