Change your cave

First time playing and when I choose my cave I didn’t know what this game was really like. It’s very early that you get to pick so I really didn’t get a handle on what’s in this game. I choose mushrooms but at fall I got a mushroom tree. Now I have a forest year two and would love to have a bat cave. It’s not about selling items just would be cool to have that option at some point in the game to change so I can make my farm how I would like it. Any chance you guys could add that in an update

I could think of a Community Upgrade with Demetrius to "explore" the cave and find another floor or a breakthrough to another room...

I’m on console but my next play through I might buy it for pc

I don't really think so tbh, the farm cave is such a trivial thing

People care too much about their choice as it is, it doesn't impact basically anything in a save

I would've given my left foot to change my Mushroom Cave to a Bat Cave on my main farm. Such an unfortunate, uninformed decision on my part, not knowing that I permanently locked myself out of silver and gold quality Salmonberries, corrupting an otherwise essentially perfect "collect every item in the game" playthrough.

However, I've since obtained said Salmonberries on my 25% profits Beach Farm, (as well as a few missing ends such as 'Boat' and 'Pierre's Missing Stocklist') so it all worked out in a way.

I'd like this option to change the cave too. Although I just choose the fruit cave now since I make a lot a preserves it's more lucrative for me than mushrooms.

And lots of villagers Loved Gifts are fruit so there's that too.
