Switch Can't get divorced, game crashes

Basically what it says in the title. Every time I file for divorce, the game crashes once I go to sleep at the end of that day. I've even tried doing nothing but filing for divorce and it still crashed. Guess I'm stuck with Haley until there's a new patch?

YESS that keeps happening to me too, i'm stuck with sebastian. Do you know when the new patches come out?

I’m getting the same error while trying to divorce Abigail so Krobus can move in, I’m so sad

So, here is what my wife and I do. Every 4-5 days, after it saves, completely close the game out from the Home Screen and reboot. We (crosses fingers) haven’t had a crash in about 10 sessions when doing this. It seems after 5-7 days the game runs into an issue and crashes for us.

it absolutely should be fixed, but at least for us this has worked.

other glitches we have noticed.

Pet disappeared after about a year and never came back, raccoon shop doesn’t ever expand as it should, glitch levels in the mine or skull cavern where you can’t pick up items.

Can you elaborate? Does this really let u divorce?
