Windows Can’t join friend’s save on new account

Hi! I recently had to repurchase a new computer (Surface Laptop 7) because my old Windows PC had a dead battery. I had bought and played Stardew with my girlfriend's save file (she's the host, Windows PC) on my old computer, but my new computer uses an ARM chip, so I could not play Stardew through the Windows Store. Instead, I bought Stardew through Steam. However, since I am using a different access method, I am no longer able to join her as my old character since it is "taken by another player." She sent me her save file in case I could edit it and be able to join her again, but I have not figured out a solution yet. What should I do?

Side note: Will Stardew Valley come to ARM PCs? It makes sense if Stardew is available on phones.

Thank you!

You could try this method: http://forums.stardewvalley.net/thr...ter-belongs-to-another-player.3108/post-22561

It's from a few years ago, but the only thing that has changed is that the save file will be named after your farm instead of the host character.
