Windows Can’t join co-op anymore — stuck on loading/profile screen

Hey everyone,
My partner and I are having trouble playing Stardew Valley in co-op. We’ve only managed to play together twice.

• The first time, everything worked fine.
• The second time, we had this issue, but after restarting the game it worked again.

Now, no matter what we try, she just can’t join. I give her the invite code, she enters it, it loads, shows her profile, she clicks on it — and then it just stays on the screen shown in the image I attached.

Does anyone know what might be going on?
I’m on Windows 10 and she’s on Windows 11, both with the same version of Stardew Valley and Steam.
