I think that this should be a thing because there are some recipe in the game that doesn't make sense like you can make a chocolate cake without chocolate.
This tree can be obtain from the desert or maybe on the island and would bear fruit in the Fall.

You can harvest it like any fruit tree and can use the Cacao bean/pod to make chocolate in the Kitchen.
