Bullhead

Despite fishing in the Lake near the cave, I have been unable to catch a Bullhead. Every other type of fish, yes, but a Bullhead just won't show up. Any suggestions?

Willy sells a different bait each day that attracts a specific type of fish. I've tried two and they worked really well. You could try checking his shop every day.

Depending on your level, you can craft an item that makes this fish specific bait, but it requires one of the desired fish. You could keep an eye on the traveling merchant's shop and Krobus' (he sells a different fish one day a week -I think it's tuesday?) and then hang onto the fish until you can make the bait, if you watch to catch it rather than use it for a bundle or quest.

You should be able to catch it in any season, time, and weather, try casting off of the bottom left or middle of the lake for deeper fishing zones.
